Hi, I’m Ed – the hands (and occasional fingerprint) behind Smalley Glass. I’ve always been fascinated by how light plays off coloured glass, and what started as a bit of a hobby has turned into a full-on passion for creating stained glass pieces that bring a bit of warmth and charm to any space.

In my shop, you’ll find a range of unique, handcrafted pieces – from garden panels that brighten up the outdoors to animal-inspired designs that add character to your home. Every piece is crafted with traditional lead came techniques, so you’re getting a durable, one-of-a-kind piece of art every time.

My inspiration? Nature, colours, animals, and those small details of everyday life. I pick high-quality glass and lead came for each piece, and each item is crafted by hand in my Derbyshire workshop. For me, creating stained glass is all about fuelling my passion to make more – every piece sold goes right back into the next one!
